RabbitMQ running over XEN

Henry Molina
Hi All,

I have RabbitMQ instaled over a VM with Xen as hypervisor from EPEL and RabbitMQ does not start.

It shows at log:
"starting database   ...BOOT ERROR: FAILED"

# cat /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_err
Erlang has closed
Error: {node_start_failed,normal}

Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump
init terminating in do_boot ()

# cat /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_log

Any Idea to solve this?

Xen? Never heard of it ;)

The most likely cause is that you have an invalid cluster config file
(which usually lives in /etc/rabbitmq/rabbitmq_cluster.config). What's
in that file?

Matthias.

Hi Matthias,

You are right, /etc/rabbitmq/rabbitmq_cluster.config was empty.

Henry
